st patricks day

It is celebrated on the 17th of March.

St Patrick was born in great Britain, around 385 AD.

He was kidnapped at the age of 16 and brought to Ireland to work on a sheep farm.

He escaped back to Britain six years later to join a monastery.

After spending 15 years there, he was renamed Patrick.

He returned to Ireland to spread Christianity.

He later became saint of Ireland.

Now we celebrate st Patrick's day.

It is said that if you catch a Leprechaun, he will have to give you his pot of gold.

Leprechauns are Fairies.

  1. Hi Boston, Gus here! Amazing facts! You really showed me your understanding of St Patrick. Maybe, next time you could put the facts in one paragraph? Otherwise, amazing! Bye!
